QUOTATION NOTICE

Quotation on plain papers are invited Dismantling of old Glass/Screen House In The Vicinity of G.S.Khush Insitute of Genetics, Plant Breeding & Biotechnology. the rough cost estimate prepared by the executive engineer (C-II) PAU amounting to Rs.3,29,500/- ( to be recovered from the contractor) on the basis of Overall percentage below/Overall percentage above/At Par & Item rate for NS items from the approved & eligible contractors/firms enlisted with PAU/PWD/Railways & other public sector undertaking of the appropriate class for the following work(s). Committee has decided to call the fresh sealed quotations in the office of the undersigned up to 16.12.2024 till 5.00 PM. Quotation should be opened on next working day on dated 17.09.2024 at 11.30 am.

Terms &Conditions: -

1. Conditional/unsealed/telegraphic/incomplete quotations shall not be accepted.
2. Quotations of only those contractors/firms should be accepted who quote their rates in the following format.

3. Note: Only one of the above option is to be filled. More than one option shall be rejected.
   2. : Non Scheduled Items:

Rates for non-scheduled items will be given by contractors in the below – mentioned format:

Item rate should be quoted for non-scheduled items only and these must be mentioned in figures as well as in words.

Rate(s) quoted in any other format/form in respect of (A) & (B) above shall be rejected. After working out overall amounts onthe basis of rates quoted by contractors/firms for (A) and (B), the lowest bidder shall be arrived at.

4. The drawings/estimate /sketches & other relevant papers can be seen in the office of undersigned on any working day from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
5. The quotations should be valid for at least 90 days from the date of opening.
6. Security @ 5% or as per norms should be deducted from the bills of the work and the same should be released after 3 months of satisfactory completion of the work.
7. The technical bid and price bid should be sealed in two different envelops (clearly written on envelops “Technical bid envelope” & “Price Bid envelope”). Both these envelopes should be put in another envelope in the name of the Head Agronomy PAU clearly mentioning on top of the envelope the name of the work for which technical bid and price bid is quoted.
8. The Technical bid should include photocopy of Enlistment, TAN,PAN. In case there quired documents are not attached with the quotation then the quotation of the contractor /firm will be rejected.
9. The terms & conditions are clear and unambiguous. If any doubt or obscurity as to the meaning of quotation documents, location of site and drawing etc. must be got clarified in regard to such doubt or obscurity before submitting the quotation.
10. Payment of work done shall be remitted to the contractor/firm in single bill (1^st& final bill) after the monitoring committee give a certificate regarding satisfactory completion of the work.
11. Work will be started by the contractor/firm within 10 days from the date of issue of the work order. In case the firm/executive agency do not start the work within the prescribed period, no further correspondence in this regard will be made with the contractor to start /execute the work and such contractor shall be held defaulter for not starting the work. Then the standing committee may allot the work to 2^nd lowest eligible quotee if its quoted rates are found to be reasonable & genuine by cancelling/rescinding the allotment letter or may opt for calling quotations afresh. The defaulter contractor shall be forbidden for at least 6 months for quoting his rates for other works at PAU, Ludhiana and outstation.
12. If the firm/executive agency does not complete the work within the stipulated time, university can levy penalty for the same.
13. Firm/Contractors having three or more than three works of PAU (PAU Campus/Outstations) pending from more than two years after original schedule date of completion will not be eligible to participate in this quotation. On the basis of the performance of the agency/contractor/firm, PAU reserves the right to reject any/all those quotations.
14. The Society/Contractor/Firm should have a valid email ID, which shall be kept active. In the absence of email ID, the tender may be rejected.In case of any dispute, jurisdiction will be Ludhiana District Courts.
