Manual of RTI Act 2005
- The particulars of its organization, functions and duties
- The powers and duties of its officers and employees
- The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability

- The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions

NOTICE
Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for one position of Research Fellow @ Rs. 31,000/- fixed p.m. + 16% HRA for first two years and @ Rs. 35000/- p.m. fixed +16% HRA from 3rd year onwards in the scheme, “Estimation of Groundwater unit and Water Budgeting in different Agro-Climate Regions of Punjab using Internet of Things and Satellite Remote Sensing, Misc.30(PC-5212)” (Financed by Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Govt. of India and Punjab (60:40)) in Centre for Water Technology & Management Section, Department of Agronomy. The prescribed proforma obtainable from the office Room no. 112 of this department against the payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of bank draft in favour of Comptroller, PAU Ludhiana.
Essential Qualifications:-
- B.Tech./B.Sc. Agri/ B.Sc.Agri.(Hons)/ B.Sc (Hort.)/B. Sc (Forestry)/ B.Sc./BCA with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
- Masters’ Degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geospatial Technology/Geoinformatics or equivalent with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks with NET may be recruited as Research Fellow @ Rs.31000/-+16% HRA
OR
Master degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geospatial Technology/ Geoinformatics or equivalent with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks without NET may be recruited as Research Fellow @ Rs.25000/-+16% HRA (Fixed)
Desirable: Work experience in relevant field and exposure to data analysis.
Note I: The candidates must have passed NET for recruitment @ Rs.31000/-+16% HRA. However, Ph.D. candidates are exempted from this condition.
Note II. The candidate who does not possess Master's degree in the relevant subject(s) i.e., Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geospatial Technology/ Geoinformatics or equivalent but possesses Ph.D. degree in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geospatial Technology/ Geoinformatics, shall be eligible for the post. The candidates should ensure that they fulfil the qualification by the last date of submission of application.
The fellowship is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
The last date for the receipt of applications duly complete in all respects in this office is 16.12.2024. The incomplete applications unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear before the selection committee for interview on 23.12.2024 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
Candidates who has applied earlier for the said post of Research Fellow as per advertisement issued vide memo o. EA/2024/5357-5456 dated 29.10.2024, need not apply for fresh application and are to be appear before selection committee on same date and time i.e. 23.12.2024 at 11.00 a.m.
The Research Fellow resigning the Fellowship shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
